ESRC Festival of Social Science
The University of Stirling is proud to be taking part in the festival for the first time, and to help our local community explore and celebrate the world of social sciences.
As part of the festival, we will be putting on a host of exciting events in Alloa, from interactive live theatre to pop-ups to displays of the University’s work.
All of the events are free to the public and promise a fun and informative day out for all ages. These run from Thursday, November 9 to Friday, November 10, 2023 at Forth Valley College’s Alloa campus from 10:30 to 16:00.
The theme of this year’s festival – which has multiple participant partners throughout the UK – is lifelong wellbeing, exploring mental and physical health at all ages and celebrating the 75th anniversary of the NHS. To find out more about the UK-wide festival visit ESRC Festival of Social Science.
Events in Alloa are supported by the Stirling Social Science Impact Acceleration Account and were made possible thanks to the funding from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), which is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
