Art Workshop

13:00 - 15:30

Join artist Orla Stevens for a drop-in creative workshop. Orla's practice explores human connections to natural spaces and aims to encourage more people to notice, celebrate and protect them. We'll be creating messages to send on nature's behalf, through a range of mediums. No experience necessary!

Landscapes in time

13:30 - 15:00

How have some our most significant and loved landscapes looked like in the past, how are they faring now, and what are our hopes and fears for their future? Our guest speakers will open the debate by talking about rural and industrial landscapes that have inspired them, and the discussion will then be open to members of the audience. What places do you care about and how will they evolve in a changing world? What does climate change mean for the streets and parks, the woods, rivers and seashores that we love?

Paperboats

Some of Scotland's best poets and prose writers will read from Paperboats, a new ezine dedicated to writing about Scotland, nature and climate change. Readers include Kathleen Jamie, Leonie Charlton and Elaine Morrison.
