Have you ever wanted to try a new technology without having to buy it? If so then our drop-in session is perfect for you. Anyone over the age of 65 can come along to visit different stations and try a vast array of digital technologies. These range from everyday practical devices such as laptops, tablets, and desktop computers to newer and more interactive devices such as smart speakers. You could even go on a trip to Machu Picchu using our virtual reality headset!

The session is a safe space for people with all levels of experience, from beginners to experts, to play with different technology, learn about how to use it, and ask us any questions and advice. You can come along for five minutes or stay for the entire time, it's up to you.

Who should attend the event?

The event is open to anyone over the age of 65 who would like to know more about technology. Family, friends, and carers are also more than welcome to attend. It might be of particular interest to people who do not currently use much or any technology but would like more confidence to use it. It will also be of use to anyone who would like some technical advice and support. 

Do I need to book?

No need to book, just drop in anytime from 12.30 to 15.30 on the day.
