Doors Open Day
Come and explore the iconic Pathfoot Building as part of Doors Open Day 2024!
The iconic modernist building is home to a whole host of cultural treasures including the Art Collection, 1960s furniture collection and the Pathfoot Press, a working Columbian Printing Press.
The building and galleries will be open between 11:00 and 16:00 boasting our latest exhibition series Human Experience which features works by artists such as Ken Currie, Sekia Machache, Margaret Mitchell and James Morrison.
There will be a curator’s tour of the new exhibitions at midday, beginning at the front entrance of the building.
The Pathfoot Press will be open between midday and 14:00 with demonstrations and hands-on activities using the Victorian Printing Press! At 13:30, University Archivist Karl Magee will be leading a very special tour of the historic campus, ending in the University Archives.
