If you would like to submit written content to be hosted on our official University of Stirling blog, please follow the below steps.

• Email your blog as a word document (file formats can include .doc, .docx, .pages and .odt).
• Word count -  600-1500 words (this is a general guide and we can advise on a case by case basis based on the subject material.
• Please submit your content as a word doc attachment via email to socialmedia@stir.ac.uk.
• Please include a suitable header image to be used alongside the blog as an attachment in the same email. Images should help illustrate the topic of the blog post and draw readers attention. Images should be in landscape orientation and cropped to a ratio of 16:7.
• Images should be .jpeg or.png format.
• In the body of the email, please also provide a short summary of the blog article as well as any key partners, organisations etc. That you would like tagged in the social media posts that the social media team will issue when promoting the blog.
• Please state any key deadlines or embargos which will affect the publishing date of the blog. If there are none, the social media team will specify an appropriate date and time to publish the blog.
