At the University of Stirling, being the difference is in our DNA.

Everything we do makes a positive difference to people's lives. We have a constant desire to innovate and improve to make a difference to society. It’s how we’ve earned our global reputation for high-quality teaching and internationally acclaimed research.

Our strapline ‘Be the Difference’ has been developed as a result of our research findings – it is built on truth and is the articulation of everything our stakeholders hold true about the University of Stirling. It is who we are.

The 'Be the Difference' strapline brings our brand to life. Its presence across all our brand communications is essential to creating a continuity of message.

It should be applied to all branded materials where physically possible. There may be some circumstances where you shouldn't include it e.g. on directional/informational signage or on small digital ads where there is no room.
