Generic skills for new researchers

PhD on Track has been created by a collaboration of Norwegian and Danish universities. It is aimed at new researchers and covers the following topics:

• Review and Discover - with advice about searching the literature, doing a systematic review and reference management products
• Share and Publish - advice about where to publish, open access and co-authorship
• Evaluation and ranking - advice about citation analysis

Information Services and the Institute for Advanced Studies run face to face training on many of the skills covered in PhD on Track, including literature searching, Endnote for reference management, where to publish and open access publishing.
