Adviser of Studies
As an Adviser of Studies you have an important role to play in enhancing a student's academic and personal development and you are essential in ensuring that students make the most of their time at university. As an Adviser you will provide a personalised point of contact for students to discuss academic concerns or queries within the academic community.
The general purpose of your role is to provide more in-depth advice on the academic options available to your students and on the academic policies and regulations within the University.
To support you in your role, there is guidance from Registry and Governance on their Adviser of Studies page, with information about your role, the code of practice, links to resources and support through Transforming the Student Experience.
The Academic Development Team organises introduction sessions to the Role of Adviser of Studies.
Please view our Academic Development Calendar of Events for all up and coming Adviser of Study sessions.
