I decided to participate in the Cyclescheme so that I could buy myself a new bike to continue cycling to work. My previous bike was getting a bit old and heavy to cycle so I wanted a newer, lighter one so that I could travel to work as often as I could and the new cycle to work scheme, and my brand new bike, will allow me to do exactly that.

I am financially benefitting from the scheme too as I have saved money on the cost of my new bike, and accessories, and I am able to spread the cost over a year, paying for it directly through my wages.

I was interested in cycling to work before joining the scheme but having my new bike is making my journey much easier. I started to cycle to work regularly last summer and now do it every day. I feel more relaxed and healthier after making the decision to travel by bike - the cycle up the hill into the University does get easier!

I also thought the set-up process was really easy and I received my new bike really quickly too. The staff at Rock and Road Cycles were excellent in helping me make the right decision to find the best bike to fit my needs. I would definitely recommend this scheme to my colleagues.
