Julie is a Professor of Marketing in the Stirling Management School. She is a member of the University’s Academic Council and the Honorary Degrees Committee. Julie has worked in a variety of Business Schools, beginning her career in Southampton then moving to Bristol, before joining the University of Stirling in 2005. During her time at Stirling, Julie has had several roles, including Head of the Marketing and Retail Division, Convenor of the Taught Postgraduate Learning and Teaching Experience Panel, as well as Director of the MSc Marketing and Retail Management programmes. This, in addition to teaching and examining at various national and international institutions over the course of her profession, affords insight into the evolution of numerous Universities’ policies, practices and procedures. Julie’s published research focuses on consumers, cultures and society and has more recently explored experiences of those working at, as well as visiting, the National Wallace Monument.
