Hamish Grossart

Hamish Grossart has over 35 years boardroom experience, primarily in listed groups.
He has worked in the UK and overseas, founding and building businesses, in full time, part time, and non-executive roles in a wide variety of industries including consumer branded goods, commercial radio and print media, manufacturing, retail, hotels, business to business brands, oil and gas exploration and production, and lending and investment banking. He has strong entrepreneurial, commercial, strategic development, financial, and governance skills.
Past chairmanships include Artemis Investment Management and Royal Doulton, and past deputy chairmanships include Cairn Energy, British Polythene Industries, and Scottish Radio Holdings. He was educated at Glasgow Academy and the University of Stirling, and has served as a school governor and as a trustee of an architectural conservation charity. He lives and farms in Fife, and is also a director of Scottish Land and Estates.
