Dr Clare Wilson

Clare has been a lecturer in soil science at Stirling University since 2008 and senior lecturer since 2016, teaching a range of subjects linked to soil management. As an Associate Dean of Learning and Teaching, Clare oversees the quality assurance of our teaching provision and provide strategic leadership in enhancing the student experience and developing student outcomes.

Clare's research focuses on soil resilience and soils’ response to disturbance across seasonal to millennial timescales. Her work explores the microscales relevant to soil processes and seeks to link these to soil function across landscapes.
