About Develop Stream

Every spring and autumn semester, the Enterprise Programme’s Develop Stream offers a programme of skills workshops, discussion panels and business engagement opportunities.

Every year, we run our Entrepreneurial Quest, the University's annual student ideas competition.

Develop Stream programme: 2024-25

Developing an entrepreneurial mindset and skills are invaluable no matter what your career aspirations may be.

Whether you’re looking to enhance your employability, prepare for self-employment, or become equipped for an entrepreneurial journey, our programme of term-time training will help you build the tools to succeed.

Registration for 2024-25 training and events will open Monday 3 September.

If you have questions or require assistance to access our programming, please email the Enterprise Team at: enterprise@stir.ac.uk.

*Eligible alumni must be within seven years of degree completion.

Our annual ideas competition: The Entrepreneurial Quest

Are you looking to develop your communication skills, exercise some creativity and gain feedback on an early-stage idea? Don’t miss our Entrepreneurial Quest, the University's annual student ideas competition.

Taking part in “The Quest” is easy! Simply film and submit a three-minute video pitch clearly explaining the essential components of your business idea. You’ll gain constructive feedback from an expert judging panel and compete for exclusive Santander Universities UK funding and support.

The Quest 2024 competition is now over. Information on The Quest 2025 will be shared in January 2025.
