House of Words

Perhaps you have noticed poems on some of the many windows of the Pathfoot Building?

House of Words celebrates the writers connected to the University of Stirling since its foundation in 1967. In this series of poems and quotations, we draw on the work of the Indian writers at Stirling who visit as part of an annual fellowship funded by the Charles Wallace India Trust.

The ‘House of Words’ text installations punctuate the corridors and courtyard spaces of the Pathfoot Building, reminding us of past fellows, and encouraging us to pause and spend time with the artwork and texts displayed in the Pathfoot Gallery.
