A highlight of the Aquaculture course for me was visiting salmon farms on the west coast of Scotland. This practical experience, along with meeting real aquaculture professionals, has not only improved my understanding of the field, but has also given me a network of industry links to help my career. At the end of the day, it's not what we have learned in lectures that matters, but how we are going to use it to make a difference to the world.
