It’s not just academic study and research collaborations that make our students citizens of the world. Being Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence, our sports teams and individual athletes are competing across the globe in elite events, such as the Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Our campus is a training ground for 15 Olympians and 4 Paralympians.
Our men’s and women’s golf teams were the only university teams outside of the USA, to compete at a prestigious contest hosted by Yale University in Connecticut. They enjoyed success against some of America’s brightest golfing talents from Ivy League universities, including Brown University, Dartmouth College, University of Pennsylvania and Princeton University.
The men’s and women’s teams have done the University proud over the past couple of weeks, proving they can mix it with some of the world’s leading universities.
